During her clinical training, she received extensive hands-on training with many leading experts in the field of functional medicine and developed a passion for treating hormonal imbalances, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular concerns, and adrenal fatigue.
Dr. Wilder specializes in preventive cardiology that allows for early detection and treatment of cardiovascular conditions such as coronary artery disease and hypertension.
We know you are going to love today's conversation as we dive into hormones, including what they are and why we need to keep them in balance (and what happens when they are out of balance). This is a very hot topic for many women who are living their life with unwanted symptoms such as painful, heavy and irregular periods. At the end of the day your period should be a "non-event" and should not result in missing work or canceling social plans.
Dr Cassie's caring approach addresses the root cause of your symptoms through lab testing and uses herbs, supplements and other remedies, such as seed cycling, to help you balance your hormones and live your healthiest life.
We also talk about teens and their PMS symptoms and what we as parents can do to help them mitigate any pain through natural remedies.
Dr Cassie shares her recommendations to keep our immune system strong including supplements, which is particularly important during this pandemic and during the traditional cold and flu season. A few of the supplements we discuss include vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc picolinate, elderberry and Priority One Bio Vegetarian Immune System Support.
