E63: Inspiration to redefine travel and make it part of your everyday lifestyle and budget with Lindsey Ranzau

We are thrilled to bring you today’s guest, Lindsey Ranzau, aka "Look about Lindsey" on social media.

Lindsey Ranzau is a Minnesota-based travel writer who spends her free time exploring the hidden gems of Minnesota and beyond with her husband, Cole. Her mission is to change the definition of travel from long, expensive, far-away trips to more attainable getaways that can be part of your everyday lifestyle and budget.

She shares her journey and how she started exploring travel and blogging and sharing it with the world.  We talk about travel and adventure and how it allows you to get exposed to different ways of life, yet at the end of the day we realize that people are way more similar than different.  She shares her favorite spots in MN/Midwest and around the world.  Lindsey talk about her tips to finding those local hidden gems in any town she visits including restaurants, hikes, activities, bed and breakfasts and more.

The insights and motivation that she shares go beyond travel and can be applied to everyday life.  She offers a lot of profound advice including how we shouldn't apologize for putting ourselves first, no different than how we're told on airlines to put on our own oxygen mask first before helping others.

For those of you who live in colder climates, Lindsey will inspire you to get outside in the cold and snow and enjoy all that nature has to offer.
